My Week highlights

 This week I went to Australia so I wasn't at school that much now what you will hear is a bit about my trip to Australia and the bites that I was at school so if you want to find out what I did this week keep on reading.
Australia

 First thing I did when I got to Australia Me and my Mum we went to the city in a place what I  don't know what it's called but we had gone out to the place where all the shops are to meet up with my cousins because we were using the tracker to try and find there house but they said that it would just stop and lead us to the wrong place so they said that they would just meet us in town so that we wouldn't get lost but once we got there we was lost because we have never been there but luckily we banged into my untie  who showed us to the sushi and because we had to wake up at four o'clock so of course my Mum wanted a coffee and then are untie told us that the susi only takes coins so then we had to find a ATM so that we could get money then we could wait for my cousins so got some sushi then they came perfect timing my cousins who I was seeing is Niena and Leah they had a lot  to tell me they had a winter festival they had pumpkin soup with cream and Leah said that she loved  mixing the cream into the pumpkin soup

Second book-Millions

Kia Ora everyone, As you may know we have been working on Lit circles if you don't know what  Lit Circles is a thing we do when we read a book and do 6 task Investigator,Connector,Word Wizard,Summerizier,Travel Tracker and Discussion Director. A few weeks ago we were reading a book called the Butterfly Lion that book was a really good book I enjoyed it a lot. But two weeks ago we started a new book called Millions which also has a movie for it. So far we are upto chapter 12 and right now it is a very good book it is bout this boy called Damian and his brother Anthony. Damin the younger brother is quit into saints and has visions about them and then one day a ton of money starts falling from the sky,but they can't tell their Dad because then he will want to give it to the bank so they have Seventeen days to spend the money. First week of term two

The first week of school This week was the first week of term two. This week we had Matt visited us, we had started chapter chat/twitter chat, we had started reading Fish in a tree by Lynda Mullaly Hunt and lastly, we had started doing problem-solving for maths Inquiry For inquiry we had Matt visit us and we had started doing our action plan. This was for or inquiry about eels and Matt had helped us with our action plan and lucky us.  We also got to have Bridget and Katherine come who are also eel experts. Chapter chat/twitter chat for chapter chat and twitter chat we started reading Fish in a tree which was what it was about. We had groups my group was Amelia and Rubi-lee. For this we had got to post on twitter because our group had got questions to answer my groups' question was what does a silver coin mean and what does a wooden coin mean and a silver coin is a good day and a wooden coin is a bad day. Lit circles the Butterfly lion

Hello everyone, This term we have started a thing called lit circles it is when you choose a book and have a group with other people who also chose the book too the people in my group is Becky, Keelee, Simon and Charlie. The book that I am reading is called the butterfly lion it is very good it is about a boy called Bertie who found a white lion and wanted to keep it but then his dad went on a business trip to France and found a person looking for a lion so then they gave the lion to him. But then a lot more years later the boy Bertie finds him and  takes him home  but I won't spill any more spoilers. Out of ten I would give the book a 9 and a half it was a very good book. Sadly now we have to read a new book but I'm  sure it will be good to. thank you.
