Week 4 of Quarantine

Hola everyone, As you may know we are in week 4 of quarantine and are still staying at home , Last week was the first day of going back to school after the holidays which I'm sure you all did a lot of bike rides and walks in the holidays. But now we are on the second week of school work and this week for school we did math,chapter challenge,R.E,writing and inquiry. Inquiry For inquiry we are doing it on the ocean and pollution. For inquiry we have options on what to choose and I chose to do it on plastic so what we have to do for inquiry we use the topic we chose and do one big question and three sub questions. Chapter Challenge   Every week usually for chapter challenge we read our book and we do activities on the book but since the teachers cant read to us they send us videos that they have recorded and we have to listen to it. Lit circles the Butterfly lion

Hello everyone, This term we have started a thing called lit circles it is when you choose a book and have a group with other people who also chose the book too the people in my group is Becky, Keelee, Simon and Charlie. The book that I am reading is called the butterfly lion it is very good it is about a boy called Bertie who found a white lion and wanted to keep it but then his dad went on a business trip to France and found a person looking for a lion so then they gave the lion to him. But then a lot more years later the boy Bertie finds him and  takes him home  but I won't spill any more spoilers. Out of ten I would give the book a 9 and a half it was a very good book. Sadly now we have to read a new book but I'm  sure it will be good to. thank you.

Cantamath

Kia Ora everyone, As you may know for the past 5 weeks we have been working on our Cantamath projects. If you don’t know what Cantamath is it is when you compete in a art competition and there is a then you have to follow that theme but you thing has to also do with something math related this year the theme was entertainment and then you take it to Cantamath and it get judged by the Cantamath Judges. But sadly this year because of Covid we had to cancel it but we had one at school. So basically what we did was we had all tables around in our school hall and people would come around and look at are things and the teachers were the judges. What I did for my Cantamath was by myself I did A board game that there was all different square and say if you landed on Harry Styles then you would have to sing a Harry Styles song and lots of other squares that did different thing  then the mathematical part of it would be if you land on a question you would  have to naswe it but there was...
